Albany Museum of Art
The only fully-accredited art museum in Southwest Georgia, includes six galleries, a student gallery and a children’s art/activity center, “AMAzing Space.” Permanent exhibits include collections of European, African and American art, with the largest collection of Sub-Saharan art in the Southeast.

Jefferson Street Gallery
Located in the circa 1876 Victorian Wight-Davis Home, the gallery showcases original artwork and pottery by regional artists. The Wight-Davis Home is a work of art itself with notable Tiffany glass windows, the first artesian well which served Albany for 31 years, and a hand-hewn, 12 foot mahogany mantel purchased at the 1885 Chicago World’s Fair.
