The restored circa 1858 Historic Bridge House, now home to the Albany Convention & Visitors Bureau, was built by African-American bridge builder Horace King. Stop by for information and brochures, to watch the film, “From the Heart of Southwest Georgia,” and to pick up Albany souvenirs, including the famous stuffed turtles, books by local authors, postcards by a local photographer and kitchen and cooking items inspired by Albany native and queen of southern cuisine, Paula Deen.
