As a result of the room nights generated through our area accommodations, the Albany Convention and Visitors Bureau can provide complementary services to reunion planners. We are your one-stop-shop for accommodations and facilities, and we can help assist you with catering options.
Information & Visitor Guides
To assist out-of-town guests, the Convention and Visitors Bureau will provide you with reasonable quantities of our Albany Visitors Guide, which includes pertinent information on lodging, restaurants, parks, golf courses, and other areas of interest for your visit. Local attraction brochures are available upon request.
Visitor Bags
Up to 125 complimentary visitor bags are offered with a minimum of 5 hotel rooms booked. We respectfully request 15 days’ notice if you are requesting Visitor Bags. Complimentary visitor bags include an Albany Visitors Guide and an Albany souvenir. Please refer to our Services Request Form for prices on additional items from our Albany Gift Shop. Hotel nights must be booked to receive Visitor Bags.
Facility Rental and Catering
A list of facilities that can accommodate your family reunion or convention group will be given to you, as well as a list of our area caterers. We are more than happy to assist you with sending out requests for proposals.
Hotel Accommodations
The Albany CVB will also send out a price bid for your group to Albany hotels. A list of hotel accommodations will be provided for your group.
Welcome Services
Upon request, the Albany CVB can provide a welcome letter for your special event signed by our mayor and/or city and county officials.
Albany Gift Shop
Shop for local souvenirs and items related to the Albany area at the Welcome Center.
