How to Access the Trail
The Riverfront Greenway Trail spans 2.4 miles along the Flint River and goes from Riverfront Park to Cox Landing Park. It also runs directly behind the Albany Welcome Center! You can access the trail via Front Street, where the Flint RiverQuarium and Ray Charles Plaza reside. One of the perks of this trail is that it's flat and paved, perfect for families with small children or pets. Once you’ve accessed the trail, you can enjoy a walk, run or bike ride along the system and see various scenic overlooks of the Flint River. This is also a great trail for spotting local wildlife, including white-tailed deer, fox squirrels, Blue Jays and more.
