Local (Holiday) Shopping

We have Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday all following Thanksgiving Day.

The Holiday Shopping Season is in full force! And Albany is filled with local and chain shopping opportunities for visitors and locals.

Starting with the Albany Welcome Center Gift Center: Housed in the Bridge House, the Albany Welcome Center has local and regional products for that those out of town guests staying with you. From peanut brittle to Mayhaw Jelly from Still Pond, Bobby Deen’s newest cookbook to aprons for the cooks in your life, Albany t-shirts to coffee mugs for those early cold mornings…the Albany Welcome Center has it.

Short on time and need to hit multiple stores? The Albany Mall has that for you. Belk’s, Dillard’s, JC Penney, and Sear’s serve as the anchor stores, but between them you’ll see Books-A-Million, Bath & Body Works, Children’s Place, Old Navy and more.

Lancaster Village landscape welcomes you in for the day! Between The Royal Collection, Kay Fuller Interiors, Wild Side Running, Tommy Mac’s; you can find clothing, running gear, home interiors and fresh baked cakes for those holiday items on your list. Then right around the corner is Place on the Pointe, a gift shop that offers children gifts and embroidery/monogramming. And after a morning of shopping, have lunch at Mayberry Diner.
