It’s Christmas Time in Albany, Georgia!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The Good Life City has plenty of fun-filled holiday entertainment to enjoy, and we’re rounding up the biggest and brightest events for you to mark down on your calendars!

Festival of Lights: The Festival of Lights is BACK in Albany! Drive through Chehaw and enjoy the lights the nights of 6-11, 16-18, 26-31 for $8 per car for members and $10 for nonmembers. Premium nights are Dec 12-15 & 18-24, and feature the lights as well as train rides, the Sugar Shack, Santa and more! These nights are $10 per car for members and $15 for non-members. Each train ride is $5 per person, but 3 and under ride free! Members of Chehaw can enjoy a pass for one free night and free hot chocolates for the whole family. So much fun!

Christmas Parade: Ho Ho Ho, it’s the most wonderful time of the year! Get ready for the 29th Annual Celebration of Lights Christmas Parade & Village. It will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019, and events run from 4-9PM. Come experience an ice-skating rink, food trucks, vendors, live entertainment, the lighting of the Christmas tree, and of course the parade itself! After the parade is over, pictures with Santa will be offered in the Christmas Village. The holiday season is upon us, and it’s time to make it magical!

John Berry’s Christmas Show: Is there any better way of getting in the Christmas spirit than through music? Tickets are on sale for Christmas Songs and Stories with John Berry. The singer/songwriter will sing his beautiful rendition of O’ Holy Night as well as others that are sure to warm your heart and make you sing along. You can purchase tickets here.

Libby Womack Holiday Workshop: Are the kids restless without school to keep them happy and occupied? This workshop is sure to keep them entertained and busy! Half-day and full-day options are available for this two-day camp where kids can get crafty and bring home some Christmas cheer that they’ve made themselves.
