Do you miss visiting your favorite Albany attraction? Good news! Chehaw, Flint Riverquarium and Thronateeska Heritage Center will be sharing daily videos to virtually interact with kids by teaching them valuable lessons about animals, science and more! Something to look forward to each day is a blessing that we all could use right now, and everyone is stepping up to make it happen! Let's explore the daily schedule available to you each day on Facebook.
Everyday
11AM - Flint Riverquarium Video Series. The Flint Riverquarium posts a different video each day, from Creature Features, highlighting the various animals that calls the FRQ home, to Leave No Trace, videos that share all kinds of useful information, such as how to dispose of trash properly or finding the best place to set up a picnic or tent.
Tuesday and Friday
9AM - Cut and Paste; Video Cuts - This "Video Cuts" series talks about artwork and information produced by 11 artists featured in the "Cut & Paste: Works of Paper" exhibition at the museum. These videos can be found on the Albany Museum of Art's Facebook page.
We hope you will take advantage of the hard work these attractions are doing to make sure everyone stays safe and educated! #VisitAlbanyGA #LoveABY #RebookAlbany
Tuesday and Thursday
2PM - Science Shorts. Thronateeska Heritage Center will be releasing an educational video Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2PM on their Facebook page, with a different theme each week! They hope this will be a great resource for parents teaching at home.
