Albany Welcomes Back Phillip Phillips in a Benefit Concert

ALBANY, GA – American Idol Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips returns home with a special performance for Music equals Change for Generations, a fundraising benefit concert for Mission Change on August 22nd at the Exchange Club Fairgrounds.
Phillips will be joined by local artists, Anthony Johnson, Anne Cline, BLASTOV, Evergreen Family Band and Meow Ka-Pow. Gates open at 5pm and performances begin at 7pm. General admission tickets are $40 before the show date and $50 at the gate. VIP tickets are available for $100. Tickets can be purchased at Austin’s Firegrill, Railway Frieght and the Albany Welcome Center. Online purchase is available at www.missionchange.com.
In promotion of the concert, the Albany Welcome Center Gift Shop is running a sale on Phillip Phillips t-shirts. Those interested can purchase and/or present their ticket and receive 25 percent off a t-shirt. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Coolers and outside food is prohibited. The show will go on rain or shine.
Mission Change is a grass-roots, volunteer-driven 501(c)(3)non-profit dedicated to raising awareness and taking action concerning issues such as homelessness, food insecurity, under-served inner-city youth, those struggling with drug and alcohol abuse, citizens with disabilities and elderly.
