Overview
"The Guardian" sculpture sits in front of the Albany Police Department in Downtown Albany, Georgia. The sculpture, created by David Landis, is an abstract art form of an eagle- a metaphor for strength and security. The artist Landis' hope for the sculpture was to convey the soul and spirit of law enforcement.
