River Pointe Golf Course

Overview

River Pointe Golf Course was designed and built in 1995 by renowned golf course architect Mike Young. Our challenging course has been recognized by Atlanta Golf Magazine as a top-tier course, and it was also voted “BEST OF THE BEST” among golf courses in the Albany area for four consecutive years. The course is open year-round. Reservations are recommended for weekend play. Amenities include a practice range and putting green.

The course has water hazards on 14 of the 18 holes. The front nine is a traditional type of course with the back nine built around wetlands with accurate shots being a premium. This course offers Tift Dwarf Bermuda on the greens and “419” Bermuda Grass on the fairways. Wildlife is plentiful. During a round of golf you might even see deer, turkey, fox, geese, otter, alligators and many types of birds.
