May is Historic Preservation Month
In honor of May National Preservation Month, the Albany/Dougherty County Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) is excited to offer a fun and engaging Scavenger Hunt during the month of May. Participants who submit their completed scavenger hunt form will be entered to win a prize! 30 challenges to help you explore historical facts of Albany, Ga while you discover or rediscover the historical integrity and beauty of preservation.

How to Play
Create a family team, corporate team. Fun with friends’ team or a team of one!
Scavenger hunt forms can be picked up at Albany Area Arts Council 215 N. Jackson St. on Thursday between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. and/or Albany Planning & Development Department (3rd floor) at 240 Pine Ave, Albany Civil Rights Institute 326 W. Whitney Ave, Albany Convention and Visitors Bureau 112 N. Front St, Albany, Georgia, and Thronateeska Heritage Center 100W. Roosevelt Ave, on Fridays between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Submission
Completed forms are to be dropped off in person at Albany Area Arts Council 215 N. Jackson St. on Thursday between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. and/or Fridays between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Albany Planning & Development Department (3rd floor), Albany Civil Rights Institute 326 W. Whitney Ave, Thronateeska Heritage Center 100 W. Roosevelt Ave, and/or, on Fridays and Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Albany Convention and Visitors Bureau 112 N. Front St.
Return by May 31st.
