Fall also brings one of the area’s most beloved seasonal favorites, Mark’s Melon Patch. This family friendly spot offers fun farm fall activities in Georgia for every member of your crew from young to old.
Don’t miss out on all the fall fun! Go ahead and put Mark’s Melon Patch on your calendar because it is chock full of fall themed events happening every weekend in October. From hayrides, a corn maze and Mark’s Monster Slide to duck races, farm animal feedings, a dunking booth and lots of live music, you and your crew are sure to have loads of fun at this local favorite. Here’s a closer look at what’s to come this fall at Mark’s Melon Patch.
October 1-2: Free hayride to all healthcare workers, military (active and retired) and their families. Must show valid ID or come in uniform. Enjoy live music by Capt. John on Saturday and Ed McRee on Sunday.
October 8-9: Free hayride for each person with a church bulletin. Live gospel music by Michael Everson and Cody Murphy on Saturday and The Pachitla Creek Pickers on Sunday. Don’t miss Che-Haw who will be on hand with friends from the zoo on Saturday and Sunday.
October 15-16: Country Music Weekend with Michael Everson and Cody Murphy on Saturday and Sky Shattles on Sunday.
October 22-23: Sunflower Family Fun Weekend with live music by Ed McRee on Saturday and Bubba Hall on Sunday.
October 29-30: Last Chance Happy Hayridin’ Weekend. Live music by Sundowner Motel on Saturday and Bubba Hall on Sunday. This is also the last weekend for the Night Corn Maze on Friday and Saturday nights.
Mark’s Melon Patch also operates a retail farm stand open 8 a.m.-7 p.m., seven days a week, offering homegrown produce, local honey, jellies, jams and more.
Load up the kids, the neighbors and the grandparents and head to Mark’s Melon Patch—a one stop shop for endless fall things to do in Georgia. Mark’s Melon Patch Fall Festival is open Saturday and Sundays, September 30-October 29, 2023. The farm stand is open daily, year-round.
