2019 Modern Gas Rib Showdown

Modern Gas Company is hosting the 2019 Annual Rib Showdown competition on Saturday, October 26, with all proceeds benefiting national non-profit Operation BBQ Relief and local non-profit Mission Change. Teams of backyard bar-be-que rib masters will put their rib cooking skills to the test as they compete for the first, second and third place category titles. The event will feature entertainment from area bands, local food vendors, bounce houses for kids, cornhole tournament and more. Grilling competition begins at noon with activities lasting until 10 p.m. Admission is free. Families and individuals are welcome to bring their own cooler for a $10 cooler fee.
