What are your plans for the summer? Join Albany Recreation & Parks for their 2021 Youth Summer Camp! This fun and creative camp is open to participants 7 to 12 years of age. Camp begins Tuesday, June 1, 2021, and comes to a close on Thursday, July 29, 2021. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day! Early registration begins Saturday, April 17, 2021, at the 2021 Albany Summer Showcase from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The early registration fee is $100 per participant. General registration begins May 1, 2021. The general registration fee is $120 per participant. Campers will participate in activities covering: S.T.E.A.M. Make a splash with Albany Recreation & Parks this summer! Registration is now open for Youth Swim Lessons and Water Aerobics beginning Tuesday, July 6, 2021. Public swim hours are available Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A completed registration must be on site before entrance is allowed. Parent/ guardian signatures are required on membership applications for public swim admittance. Admission for public swim is $1.00 and children ages 3 to 7 years old must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian 18 years of age or older at all times on pool grounds. Children under the age of 3 years old are not allowed on the premises. Public Swim Hours of Operation: Tuesday- Saturday 1:00 P.M. - 2:30 P.M. 2:45 P.M. - 4:15 P.M. 4:30 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Water aerobics sessions are $5.00 per session on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:15 P.M. to 7:15 P.M. Participants must be 16 years or older. Refunds will not be issued unless a session is canceled by Albany Recreation and Parks Department. Youth Swim Lessons are $25.00 per individual $20.00 for two participants in the same home and $15.00 for three or more participants within the same home. Fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. No refunds will be provided unless the session is canceled.
