Opening Reception for “Huemanize” by Ke’Chanbria Ball

The Albany Arts Council is excited to invite you to the opening reception for Ke'Chanbria Ball's exhibition "Huemanize." The event will take place at the Carnegie Library in Downtown Albany and will feature the works of Ke'Chanbria Ball, an artist from Georgia who explores themes of race, culture, and color through large-scale portraiture in oil and acrylic paints. In a realist style, Ke’Chanbria depicts humanizing mechanisms of the African American. With a Bachelor of Fine Art in painting and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia Southwestern State University, Ke'Chanbria's work has been exhibited both locally and internationally in Georgia and China. The artist is currently a visual arts teacher at Lamar Reese Magnet School of the Arts. Join us to experience the powerful and thought-provoking works of Ke'Chanbria Ball at the Albany Arts Council.
