All Smiles Programs are the fourth Friday of every month and are designed specifically for children with special needs. This is a multisensory program where live animals, photographs, skills, models, pelts, and more are used to engage children and demonstrate concepts. This program utilizes a sensory motor approach and children are encouraged to touch, smell, and feel all appropriate items. This program is for all ages and functioning levels. Each program includes a story time, craft, Zoo trip, and meeting an Animal Ambassador up close. Go >

It's official ~ the highly anticipated Drugs: Costs & Consequences traveling exhibit is now open for the first time in Georgia! Recommended for 4th graders and up, this must-see exhibit features state-of-the-art technology, a learning environment, and resources for students and families. School groups and organizations can book 7 days a week and schedule a guided tour. The exhibit is open at Thronateeska Science Center Wed-Sat from 10 am – 4 pm. Go >

229 Yoga leads Yoga in the Gallery on the last Friday of every other month at the Albany Museum of Art. It's a great way to stretch your art experience and to end your month refreshed and renewed. Yoga in the Gallery is free for AMA members, and $10 per session for future members. Go >

Passengers ride in air-conditioned, vintage train cars, from Georgia Veterans State Park, across Lake Blackshear to Plains, GA, and Archery. In Plains, they explore President Jimmy Carter's hometown, go shopping, and sample peanut butter treats. From there, the train travels to President Carters Boyhood home farm at Archery, GA.
